Emirates is inviting applications from experienced, dynamic, and service-driven professionals for the position of Senior Sales Support Executive. This role is responsible for supporting sales activities across all trade, corporate, and direct channels in Bangladesh and ensuring smooth coordination with the field sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Job Purpose
- Provide comprehensive support to trade partners, corporate clients, and direct customers across all sales channels with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and field sales force to execute sales and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure timely responses to all fare, pricing, and sales-related queries, while offering technical guidance for complex GDS issues.
- Manage and negotiate group travel requests, charter flights, MICE bookings, and special travel arrangements.
- Monitor competitors’ fares, promotions, policies, and market trends; provide insights and recommendations to protect EK’s market position.
- Process Agency Debit Advices (ADA), ADMs, RSAN, SSAN, Refund Applications (RA), and conduct required audits.
- Handle trade-related booking queries including medical cases, Skywards issues, and ancillary services.
- Support Emirates-sponsored events with booking/ticketing assistance and ensure proper budget utilization.
- Prepare and manage corporate travel agreements and communicate ticketing conditions to trade partners.
- Coordinate VIP/CIP/IP bookings and special requests for inaugural flights or commercial events.
- Maintain updated EK booking/ticketing procedures on the Emirates Partner Portal (EPP).
- Distribute trade communications from CCMB to all internal/external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to manage emails, calls, reporting, and issue resolution using tools like CBI, Salesforce, and Reconnect.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial/sales experience in an airline or travel agency.
- Strong knowledge of the Bangladesh travel market, fare construction, world geography, and booking/ticketing procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, EK reservation systems, and GDS (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).
- Able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Must have legal permission to live and work in Bangladesh.
