One of the major challenges we face in promoting Bangladesh as a tourist destination is limited international connectivity and high airfare. Many potential tourists choose neighboring countries simply because flights are more affordable and frequent.
The government should introduce incentive programs to encourage foreign airlines to increase operations to Bangladesh and support local airlines in expanding international routes. Simplifying visa processes, improving airport experience, and actively promoting Bangladesh in international tourism fairs will greatly enhance inbound tourism.
Bangladesh has incredible tourism potential, but strategic policy support is essential to unlock it.
