Job Purpose
The Executive, Air Freight will support the administration of export and import operations, prepare freight documentation, assist customers with export processes, and ensure full compliance with DHL’s global standards and policies. The role involves coordinating daily logistics tasks while maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Air Freight Operations / Customer Service plans and processes to ensure smooth freight forwarding.
- Collect and share requirements with the Freight Control Center, ensuring accurate instructions for operational execution.
- Respond to customer queries and assist during customer visits to strengthen business relationships.
- Support pricing inquiries in a timely and competitive manner.
- Prepare, record, and manage daily shipment documentation for freight forwarding activities.
- Track account performance and prepare monthly reports for export/import leads.
- Optimize day-to-day operational tasks through effective resource management.
- Identify recurring operational issues and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university (mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the logistics industry (preferred).
- Familiarity with CargoWise1 is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
- High integrity and strong work ethics.
