Turkish Airlines is the national flag carrier of Turkey. Established in 1933, it is one of the oldest airlines still in operation and has grown into a global aviation leader.
As of June 2024, Turkish Airlines operates scheduled passenger and cargo services to 352 destinations across Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa, and the Americas, making it the airline that flies to more countries than any other in the world — serving 131 countries nonstop. Its global network is centered around its main hub, Istanbul Airport.
The airline is a proud member of the Star Alliance since 1 April 2008 and is known for its world-class service, inflight comfort, and strong operational reliability.
In addition to its main passenger services, Turkish Cargo, the airline’s cargo division, operates a fleet of 24 freighters, serving 82 destinations worldwide. Turkish Airlines also owns a low-cost subsidiary, AJet, expanding its service offerings across different market segments.
In Bangladesh, Turkish Airlines started their operation in December 2010 and the airline is represented by their GSA – Aeromate Services Limited.
