The Bangladesh Monitor Presents “ShareTrip–Monitor Airline of the Year 2024” Awards
Emirates, US-Bangla, and Saudia Recognized as Top Performers
Dhaka: The 11th edition of the “ShareTrip–Monitor Airline of the Year 2024” awards ceremony was held on July 5 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka. Organised by The Bangladesh Monitor in association with ShareTrip, the event celebrated excellence in the aviation sector by recognising top airlines across 23 categories.
Based on the opinions of more than 3,000 frequent flyers and validated by an 11-member jury panel, the awards reflect passenger satisfaction and operational performance.
Emirates was named Airline of the Year 2024 and also won the Best International Airline award. US-Bangla Airlines was declared Best Domestic Airline, while Saudia received the Best Cargo Airline recognition.
Taufiq Uddin Ahmed, Founder and Chairman of Galaxy Bangladesh, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contributions to the country’s travel and tourism industry.
Md Fahimul Islam, Secretary of the Ministry of Railways, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest. Other notable guests included Professor Dr Md Sadikul Islam, Chairman of the Jury Board; Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor; Sadia Haque, Co-founder and CEO of ShareTrip; Mohammad Saiful Hoque, Country General Manager and CEO of Sabre Bangladesh; and Asif Ahmed, Acting General Manager of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka.
The event was supported by Eastern Bank, Sabre Bangladesh, BuyTickets, and Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka.
