Sylhet Airport Launches Maiden Cargo Flight to Spain
Sylhet’s Osmani International Airport celebrated a milestone as its first-ever cargo flight departed for Spain last night. A Galistair Aviation Airbus A330-300 freighter, carrying 60 tonnes of readymade garments for Inditex, took off yesterday. Sylhet now becomes the country’s second airport, after Dhaka, to offer regular freighter services, marking a new chapter in Bangladesh’s air cargo connectivity.
