Third Terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Open by Year-End
The third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is set to open for passengers by the end of 2025, with 99% of the structural work already completed. At a press conference on 16 January 2025, CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan announced that the remaining minor works are expected to be completed by March, paving the way for its inauguration.
This terminal is anticipated to significantly enhance the airport’s capacity and provide improved services for passengers.
