Aviation and Tourism are dynamic force, driving a multi-trillion dollar industry that fuels economies with billions in revenue and millions of jobs. They spark socio-cultural magic, bridging cultures and enhancing global travel adventures.
Is it possible to have a separate ministry of Aviation in Bangladesh, rather than affiliating with the tourism industry? All other transportation system have individual ministries for systematic navigation but I couldn’t see any ministry related to aviation, whereas, aviation industry itself is a huge segment to operate. I think it’s high time to initiate for establishing a separate ministry of aviation.

পর্যটন শিল্পকে প্রভাবিত করার কারণগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে সংস্কৃতি, শান্তি, নিরাপত্তা, উন্নত অবকাঠামো, ভিসা সুবিধা, প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যায়ন, মানুষের মনোভাব, পর্যটক সংখ্যা, কোয়ারেন্টাইন, বিশ্ব জনসংখ্যা, শিক্ষা, আয়ের স্তর, পণ্যের মূল্য স্তর, বিভিন্ন ভাষা এবং হোটেল ভাড়া।
পর্যটন উন্নয়নের তিনটি দিক কি কি?
টেকসই নীতিগুলি পর্যটন বিকাশের পরিবেশগত, অর্থনৈতিক এবং সামাজিক-সাংস্কৃতিক দিকগুলিকে নির্দেশ করে এবং এর দীর্ঘমেয়াদী স্থায়িত্ব নিশ্চিত করার জন্য এই তিনটি মাত্রার মধ্যে একটি উপযুক্ত ভারসাম্য স্থাপন করা আবশ্যক।
দেশীয় পর্যটন বৃদ্ধির উপায়:-
দেশীয় পর্যায়ে পর্যটন বৃদ্ধির ক্ষেত্রে দুটি জিনিসকে বিবেচনায় অবশ্যই রাখতে হবে-

০১. উচ্চমান সম্পন্ন পর্যটন
উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে-
– দেশের মধ্যে আন্তর্জাতিক মানসম্পন্ন পর্যটন সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা
– পর্যটকের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– সময় ব্যবস্থাপনার লক্ষ্যে, ট্রাফিক ব্যবস্থাপনা, এয়ারপোর্টে ই-চেকইন, অনলাইন চেকইন, অনলাইনে বোর্ডিং পাস কালেকশন
– পর্যটকদের জন্য পর্যটক তথ্য কেন্দ্র নির্মাণ ( যেখানে সকল প্রকার পর্যটকদের সুযোগ-সুবিধা উল্লেখ করা থাকবে এবং সেটা ডিজিটালাইজড হতে হবে, যেখান থেকে চাইলে পর্যটক ওয়েবসাইটের লিঙ্কে ঢুকে পর্যটকদের সুযোগ সুবিধার সমস্ত তথ্য বিস্তারিত জানতে পারে এবং সেখান থেকে অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে বুকিং দিতে পারে, এমনকি পরিবহন সুবিধাও সেখানে উল্লেখিত থাকে), প্রয়োজনে অনলাইন ভিত্তিক ওয়েবসাইট অথবা বাংলাদেশ পর্যটন সেবা নামে অ্যাপস করে দিতে হবে।
এমনকি একজন পর্যটক চাইলে তার মোবাইল নম্বর, ইমেইল এড্রেস এবং পাসপোর্ট বা জাতীয় পরিচয় পত্র দিয়ে নিজের একটি পর্যটক আইডি বা অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি করে ফেলতে পারে যেখান থেকে সে বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন রকম সিজনাল অফার উপভোগ করতে পারে এবং ডিসকাউন্ট পেতে পারে। এছাড়া পর্যটনের নতুন নতুন সংযোজনগুলো সম্পর্কে জানতে পারে।
০২. বাজেট বান্ধব পর্যটন
– পর্যটকদের ব্যক্তিজীবনে প্রয়োজনীয় আয় নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
– পর্যটকদের ছুটির ব্যবস্থা থাকতে হবে
– পরিবহণের উন্নয়ন (যেন পর্যটন উপভোগের হয় এবং ভোগান্তি না হতে পারে)
– বাজেট হোটেল
– বাজেট এয়ারলাইন্স কিংবা সস্তা ফ্লাইট
– ভোগান্তিহীন, সুষ্ঠু ও যানজট মুক্ত পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা
– স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত খাবার
– মূল্যের বিপরীতে পণ্য ও সেবার মান নিশ্চিত করণ
– নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– প্রতিষ্ঠানের ধরন, তারকা অনুযায়ী মূল্য নির্ধারণ
এছাড়া,
– সর্বোচ্চ ও সর্বনিম্ন মূল্য নির্ধারণ
– আঞ্চলিকতার পাশাপাশি পর্যটকদের চাহিদার দিকে নজর রাখা
– পর্যটক ও পর্যটনকর্মী উভয়কেই সমাজ ও সংস্কৃতি সচেতন করে গড়ে তোলা
– নিয়ম, আইন কিংবা উপসংস্কৃতির নামে পর্যটকদের উপর কোন কিছু চাপিয়ে না দেয়া আবার উদার পর্যটনের নামে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা, নিয়ম নীতি ও সংস্কৃতির প্রতি সংঘাত মূলক কোনো কিছুকে প্রশ্রয় না দেয়া
– দেশীয় সংস্কৃতি ও মূল্যবোধের উত্তর উত্তর উন্নতি ঘটানো
– পর্যটক স্পট গুলো ভিক্ষাবৃত্তি, চাঁদাবাজি, তর্কাতর্কি, ঝগড়াঝাটি কিংবা মারামারি মুক্ত করতে হবে
– পর্যটন স্পটগুলো থেকে লোক ঠকানো, ধাপ্পাবাজ, ঠকবাজ, দালালশ্রেণী, সাহায্যআবেদনকারী সমূলে নির্মূল করা
– ধর্মীয় অনুভূতির বিষয়গুলো বিশেষভাবে বিবেচনায় রাখা এবং কোন ধর্মকেই যেন তুচ্ছ কিংবা হেনস্থা না হতে হয় সেদিকে বিশেষ খেয়াল রাখা, সকল ধর্মকেই একটি পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থানে রাখা
– বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতিক লোকজনের প্রতি সম্মান রাখা ও পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থান বজায় রাখা
– নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতির ভালো দিকগুলো সুন্দরভাবে অনুশীলন করা কারণ এ থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে বাংলাদেশের নাম প্রস্ফুটিত হয় অন্যদিকে বিভিন্ন কুসংস্কার, কুপ্রথা ও কট্টরপন্থী মনোভাব প্রকাশ না করা এতে করে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমন্ডলে বাংলাদেশ মান ও মর্যাদা ক্ষুন্ন হয়
– পর্যটনকে স্কুল-কলেজ ও প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পর্যায়ে পাঠদান করানো
– পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, এয়ারপোর্ট, হোটেল, রেস্তোরাঁ ইত্যাদি এলাকাতে নির্দিষ্ট ম্যানার বজায় রাখা (যা আন্তর্জাতিক ভাবে গৃহীত, যেমন উচ্চস্বরে কথা না বলা, কাউকে উচ্চ স্বরে না ডাকা, হইচই না করা, পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখা, ভদ্রতা বজায় রাখা, টয়লেট বা শৌচাগার ব্যবহারের পর তা পরিষ্কার রাখা (ঠিক পুর্বে যেমনটি ছিল), অন্যান্য লোকজন বিরক্ত হয় এমন কোন কাজ থেকে বিরক্ত থাকা, কোন পরিষেবায় সমস্যা হলে কিংবা সেবা দানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান যদি সমস্যা করে সেক্ষেত্রে সরাসরি কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা এবং প্রয়োজনে টুরিস্ট পুলিশের সহায়তা নেয়া)-এবং এই সকল বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কেউ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষাদান করা
– বাংলাদেশের সকল পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, বিনোদন কেন্দ্র, ঐতিহাসিক স্থান, জাদুঘর, ভৌগলিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, প্রাকৃতিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, জাতিগত বৈশিষ্ট্য, আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে-বিভাগীয় পর্যায়ে-জেলা পর্যায়ে-থানা পর্যায়ে-ইউনিয়ন পর্যায়ে-এমনকি পাড়া বা এলাকা ভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন পর্যটন স্থান কিংবা আকর্ষণ সম্পর্কে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোতে পাঠদানের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা। এবং উক্ত কেন্দ্র বা স্থানগুলো একটি ওয়েবসাইট ও অ্যাপস ভিত্তিক তথ্য প্রদানের ব্যবস্থা রাখা
একটি দেশের ক্রান্তিলগ্নে, পর্যটনকে কোনমতে বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে পারে দেশীয় পর্যটন। সুতরাং, বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণের পাশাপাশি, দেশের বা আঞ্চলিক সংকটময় মুহূর্তে পর্যটনকে টিকিয়ে রাখতে দেশীয় পর্যটকগণ দেশপ্রেমিকের ন্যায় বিশেষভাবে ভূমিকা পালন করে।
তাই, দেশীয় পর্যটন একটি দেশের পর্যটনের টেকসই উন্নয়নের অন্যতম ভিত্তি।
"Passenger service is the face of aviation. Continuous training, service standard development, and career growth opportunities are essential to ensure high-quality service.
The government and industry should work together to establish national aviation service standards and training frameworks.
This will improve both service quality and employment standards.
"বাংলাদেশের বিমান পরিবহন এবং পর্যটন খাত উন্নয়ন করা গেলে দেশের অর্থনীতি অনেক শক্তিশালী হবে। এজন্য বিমান ভাড়া কমানো, নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক ফ্লাইট চালু করা, এবং বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকৃষ্ট করার জন্য প্রচারণা বাড়ানো জরুরি।
সরকারের উচিত এই খাতকে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া।
"আমি একজন পর্যটন বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে মনে করি, বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতে দক্ষ জনবল তৈরির জন্য আরও প্রশিক্ষণ এবং শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম প্রয়োজন।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন শিক্ষায় বিনিয়োগ করে এবং নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি করে, তাহলে তরুণদের জন্য এই খাত একটি বড় সম্ভাবনার ক্ষেত্র হয়ে উঠবে।
"আমি নিয়মিত বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করি এবং লক্ষ্য করেছি যে আমাদের বিমানবন্দরে যাত্রী সেবা আরও উন্নত করা সম্ভব। বিশেষ করে ইমিগ্রেশন সময় কমানো, পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা নিশ্চিত করা, এবং যাত্রীদের সহায়তায় প্রশিক্ষিত কর্মী বৃদ্ধি করা প্রয়োজন।
আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সেবা নিশ্চিত করা গেলে বাংলাদেশের ভাবমূর্তি আরও উন্নত হবে।
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটনের সম্ভাবনা অত্যন্ত বেশি, কিন্তু এখনো অনেক পর্যটন স্থানে পর্যাপ্ত অবকাঠামো নেই। বিশেষ করে বিমানবন্দর থেকে পর্যটন স্থানে সহজ যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা, নিরাপত্তা, এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা জরুরি।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন এলাকায় অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন, আন্তর্জাতিক প্রচারণা, এবং পর্যটন বান্ধব নীতি গ্রহণ করে, তাহলে বাংলাদেশ খুব দ্রুত একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন গন্তব্যে পরিণত হতে পারে।
পর্যটন খাত দেশের অর্থনীতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখতে পারে।
"As a frequent traveler, I have noticed improvements in airport facilities, but there are still areas that require attention, especially passenger processing time, immigration efficiency, and service coordination.
Introducing more automated immigration systems, improving staff training, and implementing passenger-friendly processes will significantly enhance the overall travel experience.
A positive passenger experience creates a strong international image for Bangladesh.
"As an aviation student, I believe Bangladesh must focus on developing skilled aviation professionals to support the industry’s future growth. Currently, there are limited structured training pathways aligned with international aviation standards.
The government should collaborate with industry and training institutes to establish certified aviation training programs, internship opportunities, and career pathways for students.
Investing in human capital today will ensure a strong, safe, and competitive aviation sector tomorrow.
"One of the major challenges we face in promoting Bangladesh as a tourist destination is limited international connectivity and high airfare. Many potential tourists choose neighboring countries simply because flights are more affordable and frequent.
The government should introduce incentive programs to encourage foreign airlines to increase operations to Bangladesh and support local airlines in expanding international routes. Simplifying visa processes, improving airport experience, and actively promoting Bangladesh in international tourism fairs will greatly enhance inbound tourism.
Bangladesh has incredible tourism potential, but strategic policy support is essential to unlock it.
"As a ground operations professional working at international airports in Bangladesh, I strongly believe that improving airport infrastructure and operational efficiency should be a top priority for the new government. While passenger traffic has increased significantly, airport facilities, equipment availability, and manpower planning have not kept pace.
Investment in modern ground handling equipment, automated systems, and structured manpower development programs will significantly improve safety, reduce delays, and enhance the passenger experience. Additionally, introducing internationally recognized aviation training standards and certification programs will help develop skilled manpower and position Bangladesh as a competitive aviation hub in the region.
Aviation is not just transportation; it is a gateway to economic growth, tourism, and global connectivity.
"If Biman Bangladesh Airlines covers only mid-list flights in Europe or other destinations, it will see profit very quickly at a low cost. While foreign airlines of other companies are taking business very easily, Biman Bangladesh has no headache in this regard. Secondly, some places in the tourist areas of our country should be made free zones so that tourists can go there and spend their time as they wish with strict security. Then, at some point, foreign tourists will also be attracted to our country.
"Bangladesh’s aviation and tourism sectors have strong potential to drive growth, jobs, and foreign exchange, but untapped opportunities remain as international tourism earnings are low. Airports handled 17.4 million passengers last year, showing high demand, yet more can be achieved. To enhance the sector, Bangladesh should expand airports, improve immigration efficiency, and develop seamless ground transport with competitive international routes. Encouraging private investment in airlines, hotels, and destination services will raise quality quickly. Simplified e-visas, strong governance, skills development, and global branding are essential. With strategic focus, Bangladesh can capture a larger share of the global tourism market.
"Bangladesh, specifically about Dhaka airport. There have been quite a few complaints about mismanagement, luggage handling, and staff behavior at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Some common issues mentioned include:
– *Luggage Handling*: Delays and missing items are frequent complaints.
– *Staff Behavior*: Some passengers have reported rude behavior from immigration and Ground Handling staffs
– *Infrastructure*: The airport is often crowded, and facilities like seating and air conditioning have been criticized.
I believe proper accountability needs to be established within aviation sector to ensure operational transparency and efficiency. Each stakeholder including airlines, GSA, GHA, regulators & service providers should have clearly defined responsibilities under a structured accountability framework which reduces operational disruptions and financial losses.
Implementing a practical, enforceable, transparent accountability system is not just necessary but also essential for the sector’s sustainable growth and operational excellence. I believe concerns should come forward.
"We have to need job security & stability in aviation sector. Same facilities for local & direct staff. Foreign airlines & their GSA ensure all facilities for local employees.
"বাংলাদেশ ভৌগোলিকভাবে দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সংযোগস্থল। সঠিক নীতি, দক্ষ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করলে এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম খাত দেশের অর্থনীতির অন্যতম প্রধান চালিকাশক্তি হতে পারে।
আমার সাধারণ দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে কিছু মতামত নিচে তুলে ধরা হলো—
১. বিভাগীয় শহরে আধুনিক বিমানবন্দর ও উন্নত যাত্রীসেবা নিশ্চিত করা।
২. ই-ভিসা ও সহজ ভিসা নীতির মাধ্যমে বিদেশি পর্যটক আকর্ষণ করা।
৩. নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক রুট চালু করে বাংলাদেশকে ট্রানজিট হাব হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা।
৪. কক্সবাজার ও সুন্দরবনের মতো গন্তব্যে নিরাপত্তা, পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন।
৫. দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ তৈরিতে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের প্রশিক্ষণ।
৬. ডিজিটাল ব্র্যান্ডিং ও বৈশ্বিক প্রচারণা জোরদার করা।
৭. স্বচ্ছ ও ব্যবসাবান্ধব নীতিমালা নিশ্চিত করা।
৮. বড় প্রকল্পে সরকারি-বেসরকারি অংশীদারিত্ব বৃদ্ধি।
৯. পূর্বে নেয়া ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি কালো আইন বাতিল করা।
Bangladesh stands at a pivotal moment in aviation and tourism development, with expanding infrastructure like Terminal 3 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and fleet modernization by Biman Bangladesh Airlines signaling capacity growth, yet the country still functions largely as an origin-destination market rather than a regional transit hub; despite possessing globally unique assets such as Cox’s Bazar, Sundarbans, and Saint Martin’s Island, international tourist arrivals remain modest due to weak branding, limited connectivity, policy fragmentation, and service gaps, meaning that without coordinated reforms—liberal air service agreements, competitive airport charges, streamlined e-visa systems, sustainable destination development, and stronger digital travel ecosystems—Bangladesh risks under-monetizing a sector that could significantly boost GDP, foreign exchange earnings, employment, and regional positioning over the next decade.
"বাংলাদেশে ইকো-ট্যুরিজমের বিশাল সম্ভাবনা আছে, কিন্তু নীতিগত সহায়তা কম। ছোট উদ্যোক্তাদের জন্য সহজ ঋণ সুবিধা ও প্রশিক্ষণ সহায়তা থাকলে গ্রামীণ পর্যটন দ্রুত বাড়তে পারে।
পর্যটন উন্নয়নের সময় পরিবেশ সুরক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক করা উচিত। স্থানীয় জনগণকে অংশীদার না করলে টেকসই পর্যটন সম্ভব নয়।
সরকার চাইলে ‘Community-Based Tourism Fund’ গঠন করতে পারে, যা স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে কর্মসংস্থান বাড়াবে।
"স্মার্ট এয়ারপোর্ট ব্যবস্থাপনা এখন আর বিলাসিতা নয়, প্রয়োজন। ডিজিটাল প্যাসেঞ্জার ফ্লো মনিটরিং, স্বয়ংক্রিয় ব্যাগেজ ট্র্যাকিং, এবং রিয়েল-টাইম অপারেশনাল ড্যাশবোর্ড চালু করা গেলে বিলম্ব ও বিশৃঙ্খলা কমবে।
বাংলাদেশের নতুন টার্মিনালগুলোতে প্রযুক্তি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে, কিন্তু দক্ষ অপারেশনাল ইন্টিগ্রেশন এখনও সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি। প্রযুক্তির পূর্ণ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করতে দক্ষ জনবল ও ধারাবাহিক প্রশিক্ষণ জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must invest in structured aviation workforce development. There is a gap between academic aviation programs and actual airport operational requirements.
A national Aviation Skills Framework should be developed in collaboration with airlines, ground handling agencies, and training institutes.
If workforce competency improves, service quality, safety culture, and international reputation will automatically strengthen.
"এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম আলাদা খাত হলেও বাস্তবে তারা একে অপরের উপর নির্ভরশীল। বিমান সংযোগ না থাকলে পর্যটন বাড়ে না, আবার পর্যটক না থাকলে এয়ার রুট লাভজনক হয় না।
সরকার চাইলে একটি সমন্বিত ‘Air Connectivity & Tourism Strategy’ তৈরি করতে পারে। নতুন রুট চালুর আগে পর্যটন সম্ভাবনা বিশ্লেষণ করা এবং পর্যটন উন্নয়নের আগে সংযোগ পরিকল্পনা করা—এই দুই প্রক্রিয়াকে সমন্বিত করা জরুরি।
"Regulatory independence and technical capacity enhancement within CAAB should be a priority. Aviation safety oversight must remain technically driven and insulated from administrative delays.
Capacity building programs aligned with ICAO standards, continuous training for inspectors, and transparent audit reporting mechanisms will strengthen Bangladesh’s global aviation credibility.
Long-term growth requires regulatory modernization alongside infrastructure development.
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতের মূল সমস্যা প্রচার নয়, বরং পরিকল্পিত পণ্য উন্নয়ন। আমাদের পর্যটন স্পট আছে, কিন্তু সেগুলোকে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের অভিজ্ঞতায় রূপান্তর করা হয়নি।
প্রতিটি বিভাগে ‘Tourism Cluster Development Model’ চালু করা যেতে পারে। স্থানীয় উদ্যোক্তা, হোটেল মালিক, গাইড, পরিবহন খাত—সবাইকে একীভূত পরিকল্পনার আওতায় আনতে হবে।
পর্যটন বোর্ডকে শুধু প্রচারণা সংস্থা নয়, বরং বিনিয়োগ সহায়তা ও মান নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানে রূপান্তর করা জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must prioritize modernization of regional airports before expanding international ambitions. Airports like Saidpur, Cox’s Bazar, and Barishal have potential but lack integrated ground handling automation and efficient turnaround coordination systems.
Investment should focus on apron expansion, ground support equipment modernization, and digital slot coordination. Without improving operational efficiency at domestic hubs, international route expansion may face sustainability challenges. Strengthening regional connectivity will also directly support domestic tourism growth.

পর্যটন শিল্পকে প্রভাবিত করার কারণগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে সংস্কৃতি, শান্তি, নিরাপত্তা, উন্নত অবকাঠামো, ভিসা সুবিধা, প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যায়ন, মানুষের মনোভাব, পর্যটক সংখ্যা, কোয়ারেন্টাইন, বিশ্ব জনসংখ্যা, শিক্ষা, আয়ের স্তর, পণ্যের মূল্য স্তর, বিভিন্ন ভাষা এবং হোটেল ভাড়া।
পর্যটন উন্নয়নের তিনটি দিক কি কি?
টেকসই নীতিগুলি পর্যটন বিকাশের পরিবেশগত, অর্থনৈতিক এবং সামাজিক-সাংস্কৃতিক দিকগুলিকে নির্দেশ করে এবং এর দীর্ঘমেয়াদী স্থায়িত্ব নিশ্চিত করার জন্য এই তিনটি মাত্রার মধ্যে একটি উপযুক্ত ভারসাম্য স্থাপন করা আবশ্যক।

উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে-
– দেশের মধ্যে আন্তর্জাতিক মানসম্পন্ন পর্যটন সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা
– পর্যটকের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– সময় ব্যবস্থাপনার লক্ষ্যে, ট্রাফিক ব্যবস্থাপনা, এয়ারপোর্টে ই-চেকইন, অনলাইন চেকইন, অনলাইনে বোর্ডিং পাস কালেকশন
– পর্যটকদের জন্য পর্যটক তথ্য কেন্দ্র নির্মাণ ( যেখানে সকল প্রকার পর্যটকদের সুযোগ-সুবিধা উল্লেখ করা থাকবে এবং সেটা ডিজিটালাইজড হতে হবে, যেখান থেকে চাইলে পর্যটক ওয়েবসাইটের লিঙ্কে ঢুকে পর্যটকদের সুযোগ সুবিধার সমস্ত তথ্য বিস্তারিত জানতে পারে এবং সেখান থেকে অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে বুকিং দিতে পারে, এমনকি পরিবহন সুবিধাও সেখানে উল্লেখিত থাকে), প্রয়োজনে অনলাইন ভিত্তিক ওয়েবসাইট অথবা বাংলাদেশ পর্যটন সেবা নামে অ্যাপস করে দিতে হবে।
এমনকি একজন পর্যটক চাইলে তার মোবাইল নম্বর, ইমেইল এড্রেস এবং পাসপোর্ট বা জাতীয় পরিচয় পত্র দিয়ে নিজের একটি পর্যটক আইডি বা অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি করে ফেলতে পারে যেখান থেকে সে বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন রকম সিজনাল অফার উপভোগ করতে পারে এবং ডিসকাউন্ট পেতে পারে। এছাড়া পর্যটনের নতুন নতুন সংযোজনগুলো সম্পর্কে জানতে পারে।
০২. বাজেট বান্ধব পর্যটন
– পর্যটকদের ব্যক্তিজীবনে প্রয়োজনীয় আয় নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
– পর্যটকদের ছুটির ব্যবস্থা থাকতে হবে
– পরিবহণের উন্নয়ন (যেন পর্যটন উপভোগের হয় এবং ভোগান্তি না হতে পারে)
– বাজেট হোটেল
– বাজেট এয়ারলাইন্স কিংবা সস্তা ফ্লাইট
– ভোগান্তিহীন, সুষ্ঠু ও যানজট মুক্ত পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা
– স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত খাবার
– মূল্যের বিপরীতে পণ্য ও সেবার মান নিশ্চিত করণ
– নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– প্রতিষ্ঠানের ধরন, তারকা অনুযায়ী মূল্য নির্ধারণ

– পর্যটক ও পর্যটনকর্মী উভয়কেই সমাজ ও সংস্কৃতি সচেতন করে গড়ে তোলা
– নিয়ম, আইন কিংবা উপসংস্কৃতির নামে পর্যটকদের উপর কোন কিছু চাপিয়ে না দেয়া আবার উদার পর্যটনের নামে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা, নিয়ম নীতি ও সংস্কৃতির প্রতি সংঘাত মূলক কোনো কিছুকে প্রশ্রয় না দেয়া
– দেশীয় সংস্কৃতি ও মূল্যবোধের উত্তর উত্তর উন্নতি ঘটানো
– পর্যটক স্পট গুলো ভিক্ষাবৃত্তি, চাঁদাবাজি, তর্কাতর্কি, ঝগড়াঝাটি কিংবা মারামারি মুক্ত করতে হবে
– পর্যটন স্পটগুলো থেকে লোক ঠকানো, ধাপ্পাবাজ, ঠকবাজ, দালালশ্রেণী, সাহায্যআবেদনকারী সমূলে নির্মূল করা
– ধর্মীয় অনুভূতির বিষয়গুলো বিশেষভাবে বিবেচনায় রাখা এবং কোন ধর্মকেই যেন তুচ্ছ কিংবা হেনস্থা না হতে হয় সেদিকে বিশেষ খেয়াল রাখা, সকল ধর্মকেই একটি পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থানে রাখা
– বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতিক লোকজনের প্রতি সম্মান রাখা ও পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থান বজায় রাখা
– নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতির ভালো দিকগুলো সুন্দরভাবে অনুশীলন করা কারণ এ থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে বাংলাদেশের নাম প্রস্ফুটিত হয় অন্যদিকে বিভিন্ন কুসংস্কার, কুপ্রথা ও কট্টরপন্থী মনোভাব প্রকাশ না করা এতে করে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমন্ডলে বাংলাদেশ মান ও মর্যাদা ক্ষুন্ন হয়
– পর্যটনকে স্কুল-কলেজ ও প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পর্যায়ে পাঠদান করানো
– পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, এয়ারপোর্ট, হোটেল, রেস্তোরাঁ ইত্যাদি এলাকাতে নির্দিষ্ট ম্যানার বজায় রাখা (যা আন্তর্জাতিক ভাবে গৃহীত, যেমন উচ্চস্বরে কথা না বলা, কাউকে উচ্চ স্বরে না ডাকা, হইচই না করা, পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখা, ভদ্রতা বজায় রাখা, টয়লেট বা শৌচাগার ব্যবহারের পর তা পরিষ্কার রাখা (ঠিক পুর্বে যেমনটি ছিল), অন্যান্য লোকজন বিরক্ত হয় এমন কোন কাজ থেকে বিরক্ত থাকা, কোন পরিষেবায় সমস্যা হলে কিংবা সেবা দানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান যদি সমস্যা করে সেক্ষেত্রে সরাসরি কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা এবং প্রয়োজনে টুরিস্ট পুলিশের সহায়তা নেয়া)-এবং এই সকল বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কেউ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষাদান করা
– বাংলাদেশের সকল পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, বিনোদন কেন্দ্র, ঐতিহাসিক স্থান, জাদুঘর, ভৌগলিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, প্রাকৃতিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, জাতিগত বৈশিষ্ট্য, আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে-বিভাগীয় পর্যায়ে-জেলা পর্যায়ে-থানা পর্যায়ে-ইউনিয়ন পর্যায়ে-এমনকি পাড়া বা এলাকা ভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন পর্যটন স্থান কিংবা আকর্ষণ সম্পর্কে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোতে পাঠদানের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা। এবং উক্ত কেন্দ্র বা স্থানগুলো একটি ওয়েবসাইট ও অ্যাপস ভিত্তিক তথ্য প্রদানের ব্যবস্থা রাখা
একটি দেশের ক্রান্তিলগ্নে, পর্যটনকে কোনমতে বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে পারে দেশীয় পর্যটন। সুতরাং, বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণের পাশাপাশি, দেশের বা আঞ্চলিক সংকটময় মুহূর্তে পর্যটনকে টিকিয়ে রাখতে দেশীয় পর্যটকগণ দেশপ্রেমিকের ন্যায় বিশেষভাবে ভূমিকা পালন করে।
তাই, দেশীয় পর্যটন একটি দেশের পর্যটনের টেকসই উন্নয়নের অন্যতম ভিত্তি।
"Passenger service is the face of aviation. Continuous training, service standard development, and career growth opportunities are essential to ensure high-quality service.
The government and industry should work together to establish national aviation service standards and training frameworks.
This will improve both service quality and employment standards.
"বাংলাদেশের বিমান পরিবহন এবং পর্যটন খাত উন্নয়ন করা গেলে দেশের অর্থনীতি অনেক শক্তিশালী হবে। এজন্য বিমান ভাড়া কমানো, নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক ফ্লাইট চালু করা, এবং বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকৃষ্ট করার জন্য প্রচারণা বাড়ানো জরুরি।
সরকারের উচিত এই খাতকে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া।
"আমি একজন পর্যটন বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে মনে করি, বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতে দক্ষ জনবল তৈরির জন্য আরও প্রশিক্ষণ এবং শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম প্রয়োজন।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন শিক্ষায় বিনিয়োগ করে এবং নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি করে, তাহলে তরুণদের জন্য এই খাত একটি বড় সম্ভাবনার ক্ষেত্র হয়ে উঠবে।
"আমি নিয়মিত বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করি এবং লক্ষ্য করেছি যে আমাদের বিমানবন্দরে যাত্রী সেবা আরও উন্নত করা সম্ভব। বিশেষ করে ইমিগ্রেশন সময় কমানো, পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা নিশ্চিত করা, এবং যাত্রীদের সহায়তায় প্রশিক্ষিত কর্মী বৃদ্ধি করা প্রয়োজন।
আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সেবা নিশ্চিত করা গেলে বাংলাদেশের ভাবমূর্তি আরও উন্নত হবে।
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটনের সম্ভাবনা অত্যন্ত বেশি, কিন্তু এখনো অনেক পর্যটন স্থানে পর্যাপ্ত অবকাঠামো নেই। বিশেষ করে বিমানবন্দর থেকে পর্যটন স্থানে সহজ যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা, নিরাপত্তা, এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা জরুরি।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন এলাকায় অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন, আন্তর্জাতিক প্রচারণা, এবং পর্যটন বান্ধব নীতি গ্রহণ করে, তাহলে বাংলাদেশ খুব দ্রুত একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন গন্তব্যে পরিণত হতে পারে।
পর্যটন খাত দেশের অর্থনীতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখতে পারে।
"As a frequent traveler, I have noticed improvements in airport facilities, but there are still areas that require attention, especially passenger processing time, immigration efficiency, and service coordination.
Introducing more automated immigration systems, improving staff training, and implementing passenger-friendly processes will significantly enhance the overall travel experience.
A positive passenger experience creates a strong international image for Bangladesh.
"As an aviation student, I believe Bangladesh must focus on developing skilled aviation professionals to support the industry’s future growth. Currently, there are limited structured training pathways aligned with international aviation standards.
The government should collaborate with industry and training institutes to establish certified aviation training programs, internship opportunities, and career pathways for students.
Investing in human capital today will ensure a strong, safe, and competitive aviation sector tomorrow.
"One of the major challenges we face in promoting Bangladesh as a tourist destination is limited international connectivity and high airfare. Many potential tourists choose neighboring countries simply because flights are more affordable and frequent.
The government should introduce incentive programs to encourage foreign airlines to increase operations to Bangladesh and support local airlines in expanding international routes. Simplifying visa processes, improving airport experience, and actively promoting Bangladesh in international tourism fairs will greatly enhance inbound tourism.
Bangladesh has incredible tourism potential, but strategic policy support is essential to unlock it.
"As a ground operations professional working at international airports in Bangladesh, I strongly believe that improving airport infrastructure and operational efficiency should be a top priority for the new government. While passenger traffic has increased significantly, airport facilities, equipment availability, and manpower planning have not kept pace.
Investment in modern ground handling equipment, automated systems, and structured manpower development programs will significantly improve safety, reduce delays, and enhance the passenger experience. Additionally, introducing internationally recognized aviation training standards and certification programs will help develop skilled manpower and position Bangladesh as a competitive aviation hub in the region.
Aviation is not just transportation; it is a gateway to economic growth, tourism, and global connectivity.
"If Biman Bangladesh Airlines covers only mid-list flights in Europe or other destinations, it will see profit very quickly at a low cost. While foreign airlines of other companies are taking business very easily, Biman Bangladesh has no headache in this regard. Secondly, some places in the tourist areas of our country should be made free zones so that tourists can go there and spend their time as they wish with strict security. Then, at some point, foreign tourists will also be attracted to our country.
"Bangladesh’s aviation and tourism sectors have strong potential to drive growth, jobs, and foreign exchange, but untapped opportunities remain as international tourism earnings are low. Airports handled 17.4 million passengers last year, showing high demand, yet more can be achieved. To enhance the sector, Bangladesh should expand airports, improve immigration efficiency, and develop seamless ground transport with competitive international routes. Encouraging private investment in airlines, hotels, and destination services will raise quality quickly. Simplified e-visas, strong governance, skills development, and global branding are essential. With strategic focus, Bangladesh can capture a larger share of the global tourism market.
"Bangladesh, specifically about Dhaka airport. There have been quite a few complaints about mismanagement, luggage handling, and staff behavior at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Some common issues mentioned include:
– *Luggage Handling*: Delays and missing items are frequent complaints.
– *Staff Behavior*: Some passengers have reported rude behavior from immigration and Ground Handling staffs
– *Infrastructure*: The airport is often crowded, and facilities like seating and air conditioning have been criticized.
I believe proper accountability needs to be established within aviation sector to ensure operational transparency and efficiency. Each stakeholder including airlines, GSA, GHA, regulators & service providers should have clearly defined responsibilities under a structured accountability framework which reduces operational disruptions and financial losses.
Implementing a practical, enforceable, transparent accountability system is not just necessary but also essential for the sector’s sustainable growth and operational excellence. I believe concerns should come forward.
"We have to need job security & stability in aviation sector. Same facilities for local & direct staff. Foreign airlines & their GSA ensure all facilities for local employees.
"বাংলাদেশ ভৌগোলিকভাবে দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সংযোগস্থল। সঠিক নীতি, দক্ষ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করলে এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম খাত দেশের অর্থনীতির অন্যতম প্রধান চালিকাশক্তি হতে পারে।
আমার সাধারণ দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে কিছু মতামত নিচে তুলে ধরা হলো—
১. বিভাগীয় শহরে আধুনিক বিমানবন্দর ও উন্নত যাত্রীসেবা নিশ্চিত করা।
২. ই-ভিসা ও সহজ ভিসা নীতির মাধ্যমে বিদেশি পর্যটক আকর্ষণ করা।
৩. নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক রুট চালু করে বাংলাদেশকে ট্রানজিট হাব হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা।
৪. কক্সবাজার ও সুন্দরবনের মতো গন্তব্যে নিরাপত্তা, পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন।
৫. দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ তৈরিতে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের প্রশিক্ষণ।
৬. ডিজিটাল ব্র্যান্ডিং ও বৈশ্বিক প্রচারণা জোরদার করা।
৭. স্বচ্ছ ও ব্যবসাবান্ধব নীতিমালা নিশ্চিত করা।
৮. বড় প্রকল্পে সরকারি-বেসরকারি অংশীদারিত্ব বৃদ্ধি।
৯. পূর্বে নেয়া ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি কালো আইন বাতিল করা।
Bangladesh stands at a pivotal moment in aviation and tourism development, with expanding infrastructure like Terminal 3 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and fleet modernization by Biman Bangladesh Airlines signaling capacity growth, yet the country still functions largely as an origin-destination market rather than a regional transit hub; despite possessing globally unique assets such as Cox’s Bazar, Sundarbans, and Saint Martin’s Island, international tourist arrivals remain modest due to weak branding, limited connectivity, policy fragmentation, and service gaps, meaning that without coordinated reforms—liberal air service agreements, competitive airport charges, streamlined e-visa systems, sustainable destination development, and stronger digital travel ecosystems—Bangladesh risks under-monetizing a sector that could significantly boost GDP, foreign exchange earnings, employment, and regional positioning over the next decade.
"বাংলাদেশে ইকো-ট্যুরিজমের বিশাল সম্ভাবনা আছে, কিন্তু নীতিগত সহায়তা কম। ছোট উদ্যোক্তাদের জন্য সহজ ঋণ সুবিধা ও প্রশিক্ষণ সহায়তা থাকলে গ্রামীণ পর্যটন দ্রুত বাড়তে পারে।
পর্যটন উন্নয়নের সময় পরিবেশ সুরক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক করা উচিত। স্থানীয় জনগণকে অংশীদার না করলে টেকসই পর্যটন সম্ভব নয়।
সরকার চাইলে ‘Community-Based Tourism Fund’ গঠন করতে পারে, যা স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে কর্মসংস্থান বাড়াবে।
"স্মার্ট এয়ারপোর্ট ব্যবস্থাপনা এখন আর বিলাসিতা নয়, প্রয়োজন। ডিজিটাল প্যাসেঞ্জার ফ্লো মনিটরিং, স্বয়ংক্রিয় ব্যাগেজ ট্র্যাকিং, এবং রিয়েল-টাইম অপারেশনাল ড্যাশবোর্ড চালু করা গেলে বিলম্ব ও বিশৃঙ্খলা কমবে।
বাংলাদেশের নতুন টার্মিনালগুলোতে প্রযুক্তি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে, কিন্তু দক্ষ অপারেশনাল ইন্টিগ্রেশন এখনও সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি। প্রযুক্তির পূর্ণ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করতে দক্ষ জনবল ও ধারাবাহিক প্রশিক্ষণ জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must invest in structured aviation workforce development. There is a gap between academic aviation programs and actual airport operational requirements.
A national Aviation Skills Framework should be developed in collaboration with airlines, ground handling agencies, and training institutes.
If workforce competency improves, service quality, safety culture, and international reputation will automatically strengthen.
"এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম আলাদা খাত হলেও বাস্তবে তারা একে অপরের উপর নির্ভরশীল। বিমান সংযোগ না থাকলে পর্যটন বাড়ে না, আবার পর্যটক না থাকলে এয়ার রুট লাভজনক হয় না।
সরকার চাইলে একটি সমন্বিত ‘Air Connectivity & Tourism Strategy’ তৈরি করতে পারে। নতুন রুট চালুর আগে পর্যটন সম্ভাবনা বিশ্লেষণ করা এবং পর্যটন উন্নয়নের আগে সংযোগ পরিকল্পনা করা—এই দুই প্রক্রিয়াকে সমন্বিত করা জরুরি।
"Regulatory independence and technical capacity enhancement within CAAB should be a priority. Aviation safety oversight must remain technically driven and insulated from administrative delays.
Capacity building programs aligned with ICAO standards, continuous training for inspectors, and transparent audit reporting mechanisms will strengthen Bangladesh’s global aviation credibility.
Long-term growth requires regulatory modernization alongside infrastructure development.
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতের মূল সমস্যা প্রচার নয়, বরং পরিকল্পিত পণ্য উন্নয়ন। আমাদের পর্যটন স্পট আছে, কিন্তু সেগুলোকে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের অভিজ্ঞতায় রূপান্তর করা হয়নি।
প্রতিটি বিভাগে ‘Tourism Cluster Development Model’ চালু করা যেতে পারে। স্থানীয় উদ্যোক্তা, হোটেল মালিক, গাইড, পরিবহন খাত—সবাইকে একীভূত পরিকল্পনার আওতায় আনতে হবে।
পর্যটন বোর্ডকে শুধু প্রচারণা সংস্থা নয়, বরং বিনিয়োগ সহায়তা ও মান নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানে রূপান্তর করা জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must prioritize modernization of regional airports before expanding international ambitions. Airports like Saidpur, Cox’s Bazar, and Barishal have potential but lack integrated ground handling automation and efficient turnaround coordination systems.
Investment should focus on apron expansion, ground support equipment modernization, and digital slot coordination. Without improving operational efficiency at domestic hubs, international route expansion may face sustainability challenges. Strengthening regional connectivity will also directly support domestic tourism growth.
"Is it possible to have a separate ministry of Aviation in Bangladesh, rather than affiliating with the tourism industry? All other transportation system have individual ministries for systematic navigation but I couldn’t see any ministry related to aviation, whereas, aviation industry itself is a huge segment to operate. I think it’s high time to initiate for establishing a separate ministry of aviation.

উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে-
– দেশের মধ্যে আন্তর্জাতিক মানসম্পন্ন পর্যটন সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা
– পর্যটকের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– সময় ব্যবস্থাপনার লক্ষ্যে, ট্রাফিক ব্যবস্থাপনা, এয়ারপোর্টে ই-চেকইন, অনলাইন চেকইন, অনলাইনে বোর্ডিং পাস কালেকশন
– পর্যটকদের জন্য পর্যটক তথ্য কেন্দ্র নির্মাণ ( যেখানে সকল প্রকার পর্যটকদের সুযোগ-সুবিধা উল্লেখ করা থাকবে এবং সেটা ডিজিটালাইজড হতে হবে, যেখান থেকে চাইলে পর্যটক ওয়েবসাইটের লিঙ্কে ঢুকে পর্যটকদের সুযোগ সুবিধার সমস্ত তথ্য বিস্তারিত জানতে পারে এবং সেখান থেকে অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে বুকিং দিতে পারে, এমনকি পরিবহন সুবিধাও সেখানে উল্লেখিত থাকে), প্রয়োজনে অনলাইন ভিত্তিক ওয়েবসাইট অথবা বাংলাদেশ পর্যটন সেবা নামে অ্যাপস করে দিতে হবে।
এমনকি একজন পর্যটক চাইলে তার মোবাইল নম্বর, ইমেইল এড্রেস এবং পাসপোর্ট বা জাতীয় পরিচয় পত্র দিয়ে নিজের একটি পর্যটক আইডি বা অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি করে ফেলতে পারে যেখান থেকে সে বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন রকম সিজনাল অফার উপভোগ করতে পারে এবং ডিসকাউন্ট পেতে পারে। এছাড়া পর্যটনের নতুন নতুন সংযোজনগুলো সম্পর্কে জানতে পারে।
০২. বাজেট বান্ধব পর্যটন
– পর্যটকদের ব্যক্তিজীবনে প্রয়োজনীয় আয় নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
– পর্যটকদের ছুটির ব্যবস্থা থাকতে হবে
– পরিবহণের উন্নয়ন (যেন পর্যটন উপভোগের হয় এবং ভোগান্তি না হতে পারে)
– বাজেট হোটেল
– বাজেট এয়ারলাইন্স কিংবা সস্তা ফ্লাইট
– ভোগান্তিহীন, সুষ্ঠু ও যানজট মুক্ত পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা
– স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত খাবার
– মূল্যের বিপরীতে পণ্য ও সেবার মান নিশ্চিত করণ
– নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– প্রতিষ্ঠানের ধরন, তারকা অনুযায়ী মূল্য নির্ধারণ
এছাড়া,
– সর্বোচ্চ ও সর্বনিম্ন মূল্য নির্ধারণ
– আঞ্চলিকতার পাশাপাশি পর্যটকদের চাহিদার দিকে নজর রাখা
– পর্যটক ও পর্যটনকর্মী উভয়কেই সমাজ ও সংস্কৃতি সচেতন করে গড়ে তোলা
– নিয়ম, আইন কিংবা উপসংস্কৃতির নামে পর্যটকদের উপর কোন কিছু চাপিয়ে না দেয়া আবার উদার পর্যটনের নামে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা, নিয়ম নীতি ও সংস্কৃতির প্রতি সংঘাত মূলক কোনো কিছুকে প্রশ্রয় না দেয়া
– দেশীয় সংস্কৃতি ও মূল্যবোধের উত্তর উত্তর উন্নতি ঘটানো
– পর্যটক স্পট গুলো ভিক্ষাবৃত্তি, চাঁদাবাজি, তর্কাতর্কি, ঝগড়াঝাটি কিংবা মারামারি মুক্ত করতে হবে
– পর্যটন স্পটগুলো থেকে লোক ঠকানো, ধাপ্পাবাজ, ঠকবাজ, দালালশ্রেণী, সাহায্যআবেদনকারী সমূলে নির্মূল করা
– ধর্মীয় অনুভূতির বিষয়গুলো বিশেষভাবে বিবেচনায় রাখা এবং কোন ধর্মকেই যেন তুচ্ছ কিংবা হেনস্থা না হতে হয় সেদিকে বিশেষ খেয়াল রাখা, সকল ধর্মকেই একটি পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থানে রাখা
– বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতিক লোকজনের প্রতি সম্মান রাখা ও পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থান বজায় রাখা
– নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতির ভালো দিকগুলো সুন্দরভাবে অনুশীলন করা কারণ এ থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে বাংলাদেশের নাম প্রস্ফুটিত হয় অন্যদিকে বিভিন্ন কুসংস্কার, কুপ্রথা ও কট্টরপন্থী মনোভাব প্রকাশ না করা এতে করে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমন্ডলে বাংলাদেশ মান ও মর্যাদা ক্ষুন্ন হয়
– পর্যটনকে স্কুল-কলেজ ও প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পর্যায়ে পাঠদান করানো
– পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, এয়ারপোর্ট, হোটেল, রেস্তোরাঁ ইত্যাদি এলাকাতে নির্দিষ্ট ম্যানার বজায় রাখা (যা আন্তর্জাতিক ভাবে গৃহীত, যেমন উচ্চস্বরে কথা না বলা, কাউকে উচ্চ স্বরে না ডাকা, হইচই না করা, পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখা, ভদ্রতা বজায় রাখা, টয়লেট বা শৌচাগার ব্যবহারের পর তা পরিষ্কার রাখা (ঠিক পুর্বে যেমনটি ছিল), অন্যান্য লোকজন বিরক্ত হয় এমন কোন কাজ থেকে বিরক্ত থাকা, কোন পরিষেবায় সমস্যা হলে কিংবা সেবা দানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান যদি সমস্যা করে সেক্ষেত্রে সরাসরি কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা এবং প্রয়োজনে টুরিস্ট পুলিশের সহায়তা নেয়া)-এবং এই সকল বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কেউ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষাদান করা
– বাংলাদেশের সকল পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, বিনোদন কেন্দ্র, ঐতিহাসিক স্থান, জাদুঘর, ভৌগলিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, প্রাকৃতিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, জাতিগত বৈশিষ্ট্য, আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে-বিভাগীয় পর্যায়ে-জেলা পর্যায়ে-থানা পর্যায়ে-ইউনিয়ন পর্যায়ে-এমনকি পাড়া বা এলাকা ভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন পর্যটন স্থান কিংবা আকর্ষণ সম্পর্কে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোতে পাঠদানের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা। এবং উক্ত কেন্দ্র বা স্থানগুলো একটি ওয়েবসাইট ও অ্যাপস ভিত্তিক তথ্য প্রদানের ব্যবস্থা রাখা
একটি দেশের ক্রান্তিলগ্নে, পর্যটনকে কোনমতে বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে পারে দেশীয় পর্যটন। সুতরাং, বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণের পাশাপাশি, দেশের বা আঞ্চলিক সংকটময় মুহূর্তে পর্যটনকে টিকিয়ে রাখতে দেশীয় পর্যটকগণ দেশপ্রেমিকের ন্যায় বিশেষভাবে ভূমিকা পালন করে।
তাই, দেশীয় পর্যটন একটি দেশের পর্যটনের টেকসই উন্নয়নের অন্যতম ভিত্তি।
"Passenger service is the face of aviation. Continuous training, service standard development, and career growth opportunities are essential to ensure high-quality service.
The government and industry should work together to establish national aviation service standards and training frameworks.
This will improve both service quality and employment standards.
"বাংলাদেশের বিমান পরিবহন এবং পর্যটন খাত উন্নয়ন করা গেলে দেশের অর্থনীতি অনেক শক্তিশালী হবে। এজন্য বিমান ভাড়া কমানো, নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক ফ্লাইট চালু করা, এবং বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকৃষ্ট করার জন্য প্রচারণা বাড়ানো জরুরি।
সরকারের উচিত এই খাতকে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া।
"আমি একজন পর্যটন বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে মনে করি, বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতে দক্ষ জনবল তৈরির জন্য আরও প্রশিক্ষণ এবং শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম প্রয়োজন।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন শিক্ষায় বিনিয়োগ করে এবং নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি করে, তাহলে তরুণদের জন্য এই খাত একটি বড় সম্ভাবনার ক্ষেত্র হয়ে উঠবে।
"আমি নিয়মিত বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করি এবং লক্ষ্য করেছি যে আমাদের বিমানবন্দরে যাত্রী সেবা আরও উন্নত করা সম্ভব। বিশেষ করে ইমিগ্রেশন সময় কমানো, পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা নিশ্চিত করা, এবং যাত্রীদের সহায়তায় প্রশিক্ষিত কর্মী বৃদ্ধি করা প্রয়োজন।
আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সেবা নিশ্চিত করা গেলে বাংলাদেশের ভাবমূর্তি আরও উন্নত হবে।
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটনের সম্ভাবনা অত্যন্ত বেশি, কিন্তু এখনো অনেক পর্যটন স্থানে পর্যাপ্ত অবকাঠামো নেই। বিশেষ করে বিমানবন্দর থেকে পর্যটন স্থানে সহজ যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা, নিরাপত্তা, এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা জরুরি।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন এলাকায় অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন, আন্তর্জাতিক প্রচারণা, এবং পর্যটন বান্ধব নীতি গ্রহণ করে, তাহলে বাংলাদেশ খুব দ্রুত একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন গন্তব্যে পরিণত হতে পারে।
পর্যটন খাত দেশের অর্থনীতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখতে পারে।
"As a frequent traveler, I have noticed improvements in airport facilities, but there are still areas that require attention, especially passenger processing time, immigration efficiency, and service coordination.
Introducing more automated immigration systems, improving staff training, and implementing passenger-friendly processes will significantly enhance the overall travel experience.
A positive passenger experience creates a strong international image for Bangladesh.
"As an aviation student, I believe Bangladesh must focus on developing skilled aviation professionals to support the industry’s future growth. Currently, there are limited structured training pathways aligned with international aviation standards.
The government should collaborate with industry and training institutes to establish certified aviation training programs, internship opportunities, and career pathways for students.
Investing in human capital today will ensure a strong, safe, and competitive aviation sector tomorrow.
"One of the major challenges we face in promoting Bangladesh as a tourist destination is limited international connectivity and high airfare. Many potential tourists choose neighboring countries simply because flights are more affordable and frequent.
The government should introduce incentive programs to encourage foreign airlines to increase operations to Bangladesh and support local airlines in expanding international routes. Simplifying visa processes, improving airport experience, and actively promoting Bangladesh in international tourism fairs will greatly enhance inbound tourism.
Bangladesh has incredible tourism potential, but strategic policy support is essential to unlock it.
"As a ground operations professional working at international airports in Bangladesh, I strongly believe that improving airport infrastructure and operational efficiency should be a top priority for the new government. While passenger traffic has increased significantly, airport facilities, equipment availability, and manpower planning have not kept pace.
Investment in modern ground handling equipment, automated systems, and structured manpower development programs will significantly improve safety, reduce delays, and enhance the passenger experience. Additionally, introducing internationally recognized aviation training standards and certification programs will help develop skilled manpower and position Bangladesh as a competitive aviation hub in the region.
Aviation is not just transportation; it is a gateway to economic growth, tourism, and global connectivity.
"If Biman Bangladesh Airlines covers only mid-list flights in Europe or other destinations, it will see profit very quickly at a low cost. While foreign airlines of other companies are taking business very easily, Biman Bangladesh has no headache in this regard. Secondly, some places in the tourist areas of our country should be made free zones so that tourists can go there and spend their time as they wish with strict security. Then, at some point, foreign tourists will also be attracted to our country.
"Bangladesh’s aviation and tourism sectors have strong potential to drive growth, jobs, and foreign exchange, but untapped opportunities remain as international tourism earnings are low. Airports handled 17.4 million passengers last year, showing high demand, yet more can be achieved. To enhance the sector, Bangladesh should expand airports, improve immigration efficiency, and develop seamless ground transport with competitive international routes. Encouraging private investment in airlines, hotels, and destination services will raise quality quickly. Simplified e-visas, strong governance, skills development, and global branding are essential. With strategic focus, Bangladesh can capture a larger share of the global tourism market.
"Bangladesh, specifically about Dhaka airport. There have been quite a few complaints about mismanagement, luggage handling, and staff behavior at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Some common issues mentioned include:
– *Luggage Handling*: Delays and missing items are frequent complaints.
– *Staff Behavior*: Some passengers have reported rude behavior from immigration and Ground Handling staffs
– *Infrastructure*: The airport is often crowded, and facilities like seating and air conditioning have been criticized.
I believe proper accountability needs to be established within aviation sector to ensure operational transparency and efficiency. Each stakeholder including airlines, GSA, GHA, regulators & service providers should have clearly defined responsibilities under a structured accountability framework which reduces operational disruptions and financial losses.
Implementing a practical, enforceable, transparent accountability system is not just necessary but also essential for the sector’s sustainable growth and operational excellence. I believe concerns should come forward.
"We have to need job security & stability in aviation sector. Same facilities for local & direct staff. Foreign airlines & their GSA ensure all facilities for local employees.
"বাংলাদেশ ভৌগোলিকভাবে দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সংযোগস্থল। সঠিক নীতি, দক্ষ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করলে এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম খাত দেশের অর্থনীতির অন্যতম প্রধান চালিকাশক্তি হতে পারে।
আমার সাধারণ দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে কিছু মতামত নিচে তুলে ধরা হলো—
১. বিভাগীয় শহরে আধুনিক বিমানবন্দর ও উন্নত যাত্রীসেবা নিশ্চিত করা।
২. ই-ভিসা ও সহজ ভিসা নীতির মাধ্যমে বিদেশি পর্যটক আকর্ষণ করা।
৩. নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক রুট চালু করে বাংলাদেশকে ট্রানজিট হাব হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা।
৪. কক্সবাজার ও সুন্দরবনের মতো গন্তব্যে নিরাপত্তা, পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন।
৫. দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ তৈরিতে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের প্রশিক্ষণ।
৬. ডিজিটাল ব্র্যান্ডিং ও বৈশ্বিক প্রচারণা জোরদার করা।
৭. স্বচ্ছ ও ব্যবসাবান্ধব নীতিমালা নিশ্চিত করা।
৮. বড় প্রকল্পে সরকারি-বেসরকারি অংশীদারিত্ব বৃদ্ধি।
৯. পূর্বে নেয়া ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি কালো আইন বাতিল করা।
Bangladesh stands at a pivotal moment in aviation and tourism development, with expanding infrastructure like Terminal 3 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and fleet modernization by Biman Bangladesh Airlines signaling capacity growth, yet the country still functions largely as an origin-destination market rather than a regional transit hub; despite possessing globally unique assets such as Cox’s Bazar, Sundarbans, and Saint Martin’s Island, international tourist arrivals remain modest due to weak branding, limited connectivity, policy fragmentation, and service gaps, meaning that without coordinated reforms—liberal air service agreements, competitive airport charges, streamlined e-visa systems, sustainable destination development, and stronger digital travel ecosystems—Bangladesh risks under-monetizing a sector that could significantly boost GDP, foreign exchange earnings, employment, and regional positioning over the next decade.
"বাংলাদেশে ইকো-ট্যুরিজমের বিশাল সম্ভাবনা আছে, কিন্তু নীতিগত সহায়তা কম। ছোট উদ্যোক্তাদের জন্য সহজ ঋণ সুবিধা ও প্রশিক্ষণ সহায়তা থাকলে গ্রামীণ পর্যটন দ্রুত বাড়তে পারে।
পর্যটন উন্নয়নের সময় পরিবেশ সুরক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক করা উচিত। স্থানীয় জনগণকে অংশীদার না করলে টেকসই পর্যটন সম্ভব নয়।
সরকার চাইলে ‘Community-Based Tourism Fund’ গঠন করতে পারে, যা স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে কর্মসংস্থান বাড়াবে।
"স্মার্ট এয়ারপোর্ট ব্যবস্থাপনা এখন আর বিলাসিতা নয়, প্রয়োজন। ডিজিটাল প্যাসেঞ্জার ফ্লো মনিটরিং, স্বয়ংক্রিয় ব্যাগেজ ট্র্যাকিং, এবং রিয়েল-টাইম অপারেশনাল ড্যাশবোর্ড চালু করা গেলে বিলম্ব ও বিশৃঙ্খলা কমবে।
বাংলাদেশের নতুন টার্মিনালগুলোতে প্রযুক্তি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে, কিন্তু দক্ষ অপারেশনাল ইন্টিগ্রেশন এখনও সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি। প্রযুক্তির পূর্ণ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করতে দক্ষ জনবল ও ধারাবাহিক প্রশিক্ষণ জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must invest in structured aviation workforce development. There is a gap between academic aviation programs and actual airport operational requirements.
A national Aviation Skills Framework should be developed in collaboration with airlines, ground handling agencies, and training institutes.
If workforce competency improves, service quality, safety culture, and international reputation will automatically strengthen.
"এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম আলাদা খাত হলেও বাস্তবে তারা একে অপরের উপর নির্ভরশীল। বিমান সংযোগ না থাকলে পর্যটন বাড়ে না, আবার পর্যটক না থাকলে এয়ার রুট লাভজনক হয় না।
সরকার চাইলে একটি সমন্বিত ‘Air Connectivity & Tourism Strategy’ তৈরি করতে পারে। নতুন রুট চালুর আগে পর্যটন সম্ভাবনা বিশ্লেষণ করা এবং পর্যটন উন্নয়নের আগে সংযোগ পরিকল্পনা করা—এই দুই প্রক্রিয়াকে সমন্বিত করা জরুরি।
"Regulatory independence and technical capacity enhancement within CAAB should be a priority. Aviation safety oversight must remain technically driven and insulated from administrative delays.
Capacity building programs aligned with ICAO standards, continuous training for inspectors, and transparent audit reporting mechanisms will strengthen Bangladesh’s global aviation credibility.
Long-term growth requires regulatory modernization alongside infrastructure development.
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতের মূল সমস্যা প্রচার নয়, বরং পরিকল্পিত পণ্য উন্নয়ন। আমাদের পর্যটন স্পট আছে, কিন্তু সেগুলোকে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের অভিজ্ঞতায় রূপান্তর করা হয়নি।
প্রতিটি বিভাগে ‘Tourism Cluster Development Model’ চালু করা যেতে পারে। স্থানীয় উদ্যোক্তা, হোটেল মালিক, গাইড, পরিবহন খাত—সবাইকে একীভূত পরিকল্পনার আওতায় আনতে হবে।
পর্যটন বোর্ডকে শুধু প্রচারণা সংস্থা নয়, বরং বিনিয়োগ সহায়তা ও মান নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানে রূপান্তর করা জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must prioritize modernization of regional airports before expanding international ambitions. Airports like Saidpur, Cox’s Bazar, and Barishal have potential but lack integrated ground handling automation and efficient turnaround coordination systems.
Investment should focus on apron expansion, ground support equipment modernization, and digital slot coordination. Without improving operational efficiency at domestic hubs, international route expansion may face sustainability challenges. Strengthening regional connectivity will also directly support domestic tourism growth.
"Is it possible to have a separate ministry of Aviation in Bangladesh, rather than affiliating with the tourism industry? All other transportation system have individual ministries for systematic navigation but I couldn’t see any ministry related to aviation, whereas, aviation industry itself is a huge segment to operate. I think it’s high time to initiate for establishing a separate ministry of aviation.

পর্যটন উন্নয়নের তিনটি দিক কি কি?
টেকসই নীতিগুলি পর্যটন বিকাশের পরিবেশগত, অর্থনৈতিক এবং সামাজিক-সাংস্কৃতিক দিকগুলিকে নির্দেশ করে এবং এর দীর্ঘমেয়াদী স্থায়িত্ব নিশ্চিত করার জন্য এই তিনটি মাত্রার মধ্যে একটি উপযুক্ত ভারসাম্য স্থাপন করা আবশ্যক।

– পর্যটকদের জন্য পর্যটক তথ্য কেন্দ্র নির্মাণ ( যেখানে সকল প্রকার পর্যটকদের সুযোগ-সুবিধা উল্লেখ করা থাকবে এবং সেটা ডিজিটালাইজড হতে হবে, যেখান থেকে চাইলে পর্যটক ওয়েবসাইটের লিঙ্কে ঢুকে পর্যটকদের সুযোগ সুবিধার সমস্ত তথ্য বিস্তারিত জানতে পারে এবং সেখান থেকে অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে বুকিং দিতে পারে, এমনকি পরিবহন সুবিধাও সেখানে উল্লেখিত থাকে), প্রয়োজনে অনলাইন ভিত্তিক ওয়েবসাইট অথবা বাংলাদেশ পর্যটন সেবা নামে অ্যাপস করে দিতে হবে।
এমনকি একজন পর্যটক চাইলে তার মোবাইল নম্বর, ইমেইল এড্রেস এবং পাসপোর্ট বা জাতীয় পরিচয় পত্র দিয়ে নিজের একটি পর্যটক আইডি বা অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি করে ফেলতে পারে যেখান থেকে সে বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন রকম সিজনাল অফার উপভোগ করতে পারে এবং ডিসকাউন্ট পেতে পারে। এছাড়া পর্যটনের নতুন নতুন সংযোজনগুলো সম্পর্কে জানতে পারে।
০২. বাজেট বান্ধব পর্যটন
– পর্যটকদের ব্যক্তিজীবনে প্রয়োজনীয় আয় নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
– পর্যটকদের ছুটির ব্যবস্থা থাকতে হবে
– পরিবহণের উন্নয়ন (যেন পর্যটন উপভোগের হয় এবং ভোগান্তি না হতে পারে)
– বাজেট হোটেল
– বাজেট এয়ারলাইন্স কিংবা সস্তা ফ্লাইট
– ভোগান্তিহীন, সুষ্ঠু ও যানজট মুক্ত পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা
– স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত খাবার
– মূল্যের বিপরীতে পণ্য ও সেবার মান নিশ্চিত করণ
– নিরাপত্তার বিধান করা
– প্রতিষ্ঠানের ধরন, তারকা অনুযায়ী মূল্য নির্ধারণ

– নিয়ম, আইন কিংবা উপসংস্কৃতির নামে পর্যটকদের উপর কোন কিছু চাপিয়ে না দেয়া আবার উদার পর্যটনের নামে আইন-শৃঙ্খলা, নিয়ম নীতি ও সংস্কৃতির প্রতি সংঘাত মূলক কোনো কিছুকে প্রশ্রয় না দেয়া
– দেশীয় সংস্কৃতি ও মূল্যবোধের উত্তর উত্তর উন্নতি ঘটানো
– পর্যটক স্পট গুলো ভিক্ষাবৃত্তি, চাঁদাবাজি, তর্কাতর্কি, ঝগড়াঝাটি কিংবা মারামারি মুক্ত করতে হবে
– পর্যটন স্পটগুলো থেকে লোক ঠকানো, ধাপ্পাবাজ, ঠকবাজ, দালালশ্রেণী, সাহায্যআবেদনকারী সমূলে নির্মূল করা
– ধর্মীয় অনুভূতির বিষয়গুলো বিশেষভাবে বিবেচনায় রাখা এবং কোন ধর্মকেই যেন তুচ্ছ কিংবা হেনস্থা না হতে হয় সেদিকে বিশেষ খেয়াল রাখা, সকল ধর্মকেই একটি পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থানে রাখা
– বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতিক লোকজনের প্রতি সম্মান রাখা ও পারস্পরিক সহাবস্থান বজায় রাখা
– নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতির ভালো দিকগুলো সুন্দরভাবে অনুশীলন করা কারণ এ থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে বাংলাদেশের নাম প্রস্ফুটিত হয় অন্যদিকে বিভিন্ন কুসংস্কার, কুপ্রথা ও কট্টরপন্থী মনোভাব প্রকাশ না করা এতে করে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমন্ডলে বাংলাদেশ মান ও মর্যাদা ক্ষুন্ন হয়
– পর্যটনকে স্কুল-কলেজ ও প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পর্যায়ে পাঠদান করানো
– পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, এয়ারপোর্ট, হোটেল, রেস্তোরাঁ ইত্যাদি এলাকাতে নির্দিষ্ট ম্যানার বজায় রাখা (যা আন্তর্জাতিক ভাবে গৃহীত, যেমন উচ্চস্বরে কথা না বলা, কাউকে উচ্চ স্বরে না ডাকা, হইচই না করা, পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখা, ভদ্রতা বজায় রাখা, টয়লেট বা শৌচাগার ব্যবহারের পর তা পরিষ্কার রাখা (ঠিক পুর্বে যেমনটি ছিল), অন্যান্য লোকজন বিরক্ত হয় এমন কোন কাজ থেকে বিরক্ত থাকা, কোন পরিষেবায় সমস্যা হলে কিংবা সেবা দানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান যদি সমস্যা করে সেক্ষেত্রে সরাসরি কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা এবং প্রয়োজনে টুরিস্ট পুলিশের সহায়তা নেয়া)-এবং এই সকল বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কেউ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষাদান করা
– বাংলাদেশের সকল পর্যটন কেন্দ্র, বিনোদন কেন্দ্র, ঐতিহাসিক স্থান, জাদুঘর, ভৌগলিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, প্রাকৃতিক বৈশিষ্ট্য, জাতিগত বৈশিষ্ট্য, আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে-বিভাগীয় পর্যায়ে-জেলা পর্যায়ে-থানা পর্যায়ে-ইউনিয়ন পর্যায়ে-এমনকি পাড়া বা এলাকা ভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন পর্যটন স্থান কিংবা আকর্ষণ সম্পর্কে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোতে পাঠদানের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা। এবং উক্ত কেন্দ্র বা স্থানগুলো একটি ওয়েবসাইট ও অ্যাপস ভিত্তিক তথ্য প্রদানের ব্যবস্থা রাখা
একটি দেশের ক্রান্তিলগ্নে, পর্যটনকে কোনমতে বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে পারে দেশীয় পর্যটন। সুতরাং, বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণের পাশাপাশি, দেশের বা আঞ্চলিক সংকটময় মুহূর্তে পর্যটনকে টিকিয়ে রাখতে দেশীয় পর্যটকগণ দেশপ্রেমিকের ন্যায় বিশেষভাবে ভূমিকা পালন করে।
তাই, দেশীয় পর্যটন একটি দেশের পর্যটনের টেকসই উন্নয়নের অন্যতম ভিত্তি।
"Passenger service is the face of aviation. Continuous training, service standard development, and career growth opportunities are essential to ensure high-quality service.
The government and industry should work together to establish national aviation service standards and training frameworks.
This will improve both service quality and employment standards.
"বাংলাদেশের বিমান পরিবহন এবং পর্যটন খাত উন্নয়ন করা গেলে দেশের অর্থনীতি অনেক শক্তিশালী হবে। এজন্য বিমান ভাড়া কমানো, নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক ফ্লাইট চালু করা, এবং বিদেশি পর্যটকদের আকৃষ্ট করার জন্য প্রচারণা বাড়ানো জরুরি।
সরকারের উচিত এই খাতকে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া।
"আমি একজন পর্যটন বিষয়ে শিক্ষার্থী হিসেবে মনে করি, বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতে দক্ষ জনবল তৈরির জন্য আরও প্রশিক্ষণ এবং শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম প্রয়োজন।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন শিক্ষায় বিনিয়োগ করে এবং নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি করে, তাহলে তরুণদের জন্য এই খাত একটি বড় সম্ভাবনার ক্ষেত্র হয়ে উঠবে।
"আমি নিয়মিত বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করি এবং লক্ষ্য করেছি যে আমাদের বিমানবন্দরে যাত্রী সেবা আরও উন্নত করা সম্ভব। বিশেষ করে ইমিগ্রেশন সময় কমানো, পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা নিশ্চিত করা, এবং যাত্রীদের সহায়তায় প্রশিক্ষিত কর্মী বৃদ্ধি করা প্রয়োজন।
আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সেবা নিশ্চিত করা গেলে বাংলাদেশের ভাবমূর্তি আরও উন্নত হবে।
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটনের সম্ভাবনা অত্যন্ত বেশি, কিন্তু এখনো অনেক পর্যটন স্থানে পর্যাপ্ত অবকাঠামো নেই। বিশেষ করে বিমানবন্দর থেকে পর্যটন স্থানে সহজ যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা, নিরাপত্তা, এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সুযোগ-সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করা জরুরি।
সরকার যদি পর্যটন এলাকায় অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন, আন্তর্জাতিক প্রচারণা, এবং পর্যটন বান্ধব নীতি গ্রহণ করে, তাহলে বাংলাদেশ খুব দ্রুত একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন গন্তব্যে পরিণত হতে পারে।
পর্যটন খাত দেশের অর্থনীতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখতে পারে।
"As a frequent traveler, I have noticed improvements in airport facilities, but there are still areas that require attention, especially passenger processing time, immigration efficiency, and service coordination.
Introducing more automated immigration systems, improving staff training, and implementing passenger-friendly processes will significantly enhance the overall travel experience.
A positive passenger experience creates a strong international image for Bangladesh.
"As an aviation student, I believe Bangladesh must focus on developing skilled aviation professionals to support the industry’s future growth. Currently, there are limited structured training pathways aligned with international aviation standards.
The government should collaborate with industry and training institutes to establish certified aviation training programs, internship opportunities, and career pathways for students.
Investing in human capital today will ensure a strong, safe, and competitive aviation sector tomorrow.
"One of the major challenges we face in promoting Bangladesh as a tourist destination is limited international connectivity and high airfare. Many potential tourists choose neighboring countries simply because flights are more affordable and frequent.
The government should introduce incentive programs to encourage foreign airlines to increase operations to Bangladesh and support local airlines in expanding international routes. Simplifying visa processes, improving airport experience, and actively promoting Bangladesh in international tourism fairs will greatly enhance inbound tourism.
Bangladesh has incredible tourism potential, but strategic policy support is essential to unlock it.
"As a ground operations professional working at international airports in Bangladesh, I strongly believe that improving airport infrastructure and operational efficiency should be a top priority for the new government. While passenger traffic has increased significantly, airport facilities, equipment availability, and manpower planning have not kept pace.
Investment in modern ground handling equipment, automated systems, and structured manpower development programs will significantly improve safety, reduce delays, and enhance the passenger experience. Additionally, introducing internationally recognized aviation training standards and certification programs will help develop skilled manpower and position Bangladesh as a competitive aviation hub in the region.
Aviation is not just transportation; it is a gateway to economic growth, tourism, and global connectivity.
"If Biman Bangladesh Airlines covers only mid-list flights in Europe or other destinations, it will see profit very quickly at a low cost. While foreign airlines of other companies are taking business very easily, Biman Bangladesh has no headache in this regard. Secondly, some places in the tourist areas of our country should be made free zones so that tourists can go there and spend their time as they wish with strict security. Then, at some point, foreign tourists will also be attracted to our country.
"Bangladesh’s aviation and tourism sectors have strong potential to drive growth, jobs, and foreign exchange, but untapped opportunities remain as international tourism earnings are low. Airports handled 17.4 million passengers last year, showing high demand, yet more can be achieved. To enhance the sector, Bangladesh should expand airports, improve immigration efficiency, and develop seamless ground transport with competitive international routes. Encouraging private investment in airlines, hotels, and destination services will raise quality quickly. Simplified e-visas, strong governance, skills development, and global branding are essential. With strategic focus, Bangladesh can capture a larger share of the global tourism market.
"Bangladesh, specifically about Dhaka airport. There have been quite a few complaints about mismanagement, luggage handling, and staff behavior at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Some common issues mentioned include:
– *Luggage Handling*: Delays and missing items are frequent complaints.
– *Staff Behavior*: Some passengers have reported rude behavior from immigration and Ground Handling staffs
– *Infrastructure*: The airport is often crowded, and facilities like seating and air conditioning have been criticized.
I believe proper accountability needs to be established within aviation sector to ensure operational transparency and efficiency. Each stakeholder including airlines, GSA, GHA, regulators & service providers should have clearly defined responsibilities under a structured accountability framework which reduces operational disruptions and financial losses.
Implementing a practical, enforceable, transparent accountability system is not just necessary but also essential for the sector’s sustainable growth and operational excellence. I believe concerns should come forward.
"We have to need job security & stability in aviation sector. Same facilities for local & direct staff. Foreign airlines & their GSA ensure all facilities for local employees.
"বাংলাদেশ ভৌগোলিকভাবে দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সংযোগস্থল। সঠিক নীতি, দক্ষ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করলে এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম খাত দেশের অর্থনীতির অন্যতম প্রধান চালিকাশক্তি হতে পারে।
আমার সাধারণ দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে কিছু মতামত নিচে তুলে ধরা হলো—
১. বিভাগীয় শহরে আধুনিক বিমানবন্দর ও উন্নত যাত্রীসেবা নিশ্চিত করা।
২. ই-ভিসা ও সহজ ভিসা নীতির মাধ্যমে বিদেশি পর্যটক আকর্ষণ করা।
৩. নতুন আন্তর্জাতিক রুট চালু করে বাংলাদেশকে ট্রানজিট হাব হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা।
৪. কক্সবাজার ও সুন্দরবনের মতো গন্তব্যে নিরাপত্তা, পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন।
৫. দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ তৈরিতে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের প্রশিক্ষণ।
৬. ডিজিটাল ব্র্যান্ডিং ও বৈশ্বিক প্রচারণা জোরদার করা।
৭. স্বচ্ছ ও ব্যবসাবান্ধব নীতিমালা নিশ্চিত করা।
৮. বড় প্রকল্পে সরকারি-বেসরকারি অংশীদারিত্ব বৃদ্ধি।
৯. পূর্বে নেয়া ট্রাভেল এজেন্সি কালো আইন বাতিল করা।
Bangladesh stands at a pivotal moment in aviation and tourism development, with expanding infrastructure like Terminal 3 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and fleet modernization by Biman Bangladesh Airlines signaling capacity growth, yet the country still functions largely as an origin-destination market rather than a regional transit hub; despite possessing globally unique assets such as Cox’s Bazar, Sundarbans, and Saint Martin’s Island, international tourist arrivals remain modest due to weak branding, limited connectivity, policy fragmentation, and service gaps, meaning that without coordinated reforms—liberal air service agreements, competitive airport charges, streamlined e-visa systems, sustainable destination development, and stronger digital travel ecosystems—Bangladesh risks under-monetizing a sector that could significantly boost GDP, foreign exchange earnings, employment, and regional positioning over the next decade.
"বাংলাদেশে ইকো-ট্যুরিজমের বিশাল সম্ভাবনা আছে, কিন্তু নীতিগত সহায়তা কম। ছোট উদ্যোক্তাদের জন্য সহজ ঋণ সুবিধা ও প্রশিক্ষণ সহায়তা থাকলে গ্রামীণ পর্যটন দ্রুত বাড়তে পারে।
পর্যটন উন্নয়নের সময় পরিবেশ সুরক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক করা উচিত। স্থানীয় জনগণকে অংশীদার না করলে টেকসই পর্যটন সম্ভব নয়।
সরকার চাইলে ‘Community-Based Tourism Fund’ গঠন করতে পারে, যা স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে কর্মসংস্থান বাড়াবে।
"স্মার্ট এয়ারপোর্ট ব্যবস্থাপনা এখন আর বিলাসিতা নয়, প্রয়োজন। ডিজিটাল প্যাসেঞ্জার ফ্লো মনিটরিং, স্বয়ংক্রিয় ব্যাগেজ ট্র্যাকিং, এবং রিয়েল-টাইম অপারেশনাল ড্যাশবোর্ড চালু করা গেলে বিলম্ব ও বিশৃঙ্খলা কমবে।
বাংলাদেশের নতুন টার্মিনালগুলোতে প্রযুক্তি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে, কিন্তু দক্ষ অপারেশনাল ইন্টিগ্রেশন এখনও সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি। প্রযুক্তির পূর্ণ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করতে দক্ষ জনবল ও ধারাবাহিক প্রশিক্ষণ জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must invest in structured aviation workforce development. There is a gap between academic aviation programs and actual airport operational requirements.
A national Aviation Skills Framework should be developed in collaboration with airlines, ground handling agencies, and training institutes.
If workforce competency improves, service quality, safety culture, and international reputation will automatically strengthen.
"এভিয়েশন ও ট্যুরিজম আলাদা খাত হলেও বাস্তবে তারা একে অপরের উপর নির্ভরশীল। বিমান সংযোগ না থাকলে পর্যটন বাড়ে না, আবার পর্যটক না থাকলে এয়ার রুট লাভজনক হয় না।
সরকার চাইলে একটি সমন্বিত ‘Air Connectivity & Tourism Strategy’ তৈরি করতে পারে। নতুন রুট চালুর আগে পর্যটন সম্ভাবনা বিশ্লেষণ করা এবং পর্যটন উন্নয়নের আগে সংযোগ পরিকল্পনা করা—এই দুই প্রক্রিয়াকে সমন্বিত করা জরুরি।
"Regulatory independence and technical capacity enhancement within CAAB should be a priority. Aviation safety oversight must remain technically driven and insulated from administrative delays.
Capacity building programs aligned with ICAO standards, continuous training for inspectors, and transparent audit reporting mechanisms will strengthen Bangladesh’s global aviation credibility.
Long-term growth requires regulatory modernization alongside infrastructure development.
"বাংলাদেশে পর্যটন খাতের মূল সমস্যা প্রচার নয়, বরং পরিকল্পিত পণ্য উন্নয়ন। আমাদের পর্যটন স্পট আছে, কিন্তু সেগুলোকে আন্তর্জাতিক মানের অভিজ্ঞতায় রূপান্তর করা হয়নি।
প্রতিটি বিভাগে ‘Tourism Cluster Development Model’ চালু করা যেতে পারে। স্থানীয় উদ্যোক্তা, হোটেল মালিক, গাইড, পরিবহন খাত—সবাইকে একীভূত পরিকল্পনার আওতায় আনতে হবে।
পর্যটন বোর্ডকে শুধু প্রচারণা সংস্থা নয়, বরং বিনিয়োগ সহায়তা ও মান নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানে রূপান্তর করা জরুরি।
"Bangladesh must prioritize modernization of regional airports before expanding international ambitions. Airports like Saidpur, Cox’s Bazar, and Barishal have potential but lack integrated ground handling automation and efficient turnaround coordination systems.
Investment should focus on apron expansion, ground support equipment modernization, and digital slot coordination. Without improving operational efficiency at domestic hubs, international route expansion may face sustainability challenges. Strengthening regional connectivity will also directly support domestic tourism growth.
