Aviation.com. bd arranges Workshop on Tour Guide Technique & Operation, Engages Participants in Dhaka
Dhaka, 25 April 2026: A day-long industry workshop titled “Tour Guide Technique & Operation”, organized by aviation.com.bd, was successfully held today in Dhaka, bringing together 22 participants from different parts of Bangladesh. The workshop attracted a diverse group of attendees, including both experienced tourism professionals and young enthusiasts eager to build a career in the sector.
The event provided an engaging and interactive learning environment, combining presentations, group activities, teamwork exercises, and real-life experience sharing. Participants had the opportunity to explore the practical responsibilities, communication techniques, and operational aspects required to become effective and professional Tour Guides.
The session was facilitated by Taufiq Rahman, Founder and Chief Executive of Journey Plus and Secretary General of the PATA Bangladesh Chapter. Drawing from his nearly three decades of experience in inbound tourism and hospitality education, he shared valuable insights into industry practices, challenges, and opportunities.

Reflecting on the workshop, Taufiq Rahman said, “This kind of initiative is very important for the development of skilled human resources in tourism. It was encouraging to see such enthusiasm among participants. The workshop was held at Biswa Sahitto Kendro in Banglamotor, Dhaka, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The limited number of participants ensured a highly interactive session, allowing for meaningful engagement between the facilitator and attendees.

The workshop concluded with the awarding of Certificates of Participation to all attendees.
