HB Aviation Marks a Major Milestone with Launch of 100th Air Ticketing Batch
A significant milestone was celebrated in Bangladesh’s aviation training sector as HB Aviation & Tourism Institute officially launched the 100th batch of its Air Ticketing Course at its Dhaka branch yesterday.
The occasion was marked with a special gathering attended by students of the 100th batch, current learners, faculty members, officers, and well-wishers—turning the event into both a celebration of achievement and a reflection on a remarkable journey.
Welcoming the new batch, Mr. Zaki S Bari, Founder & Chairman of HB Aviation, shared the story behind the institution’s inception. He noted that HB Aviation was born out of his own early struggles in the aviation industry, particularly the lack of proper guidance available to newcomers. That personal experience inspired him to build a platform dedicated to guiding and supporting young people entering the industry.
In his remarks, he emphasized that HB Aviation is not just an institute, but a family—one that takes responsibility for its students beyond the classroom by offering mentorship, supporting career development, and facilitating employment and business opportunities whenever possible.
Faculty members and well-wishers also shared their own journeys with HB Aviation, offering encouragement and best wishes to the students beginning this new chapter.
Adding a memorable touch to the celebration, and to honor the milestone of the 100th batch, one student was awarded a Dhaka–Cox’s Bazar (DAC-CXB) air ticket through a lottery draw, making the occasion even more special for the participants.
Reaching a 100th batch is no small achievement. It reflects continuity, trust, and sustained contribution to developing human resources for Bangladesh’s aviation and travel industry.
